This weekend will be a kickstart to your Yoga Sculpt journey. During this intensive, we will introduce you to incorporating light weights into your familiar yoga asana. We will address the principles of alignment and core stability. You will learn how and why music is instrumental in your Yoga Sculpt class and the foundations of safe and effective sequencing.
Throughout the weekend, we will outline the basics of a Yoga Sculpt sequence, learn how to curate a playlist for your classes, include small cardio bursts, and discuss the importance of breath with a focus on proper alignment. Building on your teaching skills, we will introduce Sun A & Sun B, crescent lunge, squats, core exercises, bridges, and more while incorporating hand weights, bands, and blocks. You will work towards finding your "Sculpt" voice during practice teaching sessions, lay a foundation to build a safe and effective Yoga Sculpt class, and have fun doing it!
This is an opportunity to further strengthen your authentic voice as a teacher and to create a deeper connection with your students. Come and learn how to build on your already existing skill sets to create a fun, energetic, and safe Yoga Sculpt Class!

Ticari has been teaching a variety of styles of yoga, including Yoga Sculpt, for over a decade. Yoga Sculpt incorporates the principles, shapes, and intentions of your traditional power yoga class with the addition of light weights, bands, and plyometrics. Ticari's personal experience of how incorporating this strength-based practice can help boost both physical & mental stamina for all those activities we love to enjoy here in central Oregon and beyond. Above all, she loves the energy created by this fun and music-driven way to exercise.
